Showbread is getting ready to head out on their for real last tour of the year and they've just added some shows to the lineup.
Immediately after the tour, the band will head out to Weed, California to start working on their "most elaborate, most terrifying, most eccentric, most incredible" album yet. No word on how they plan to do that just yet.
Also, according to a MySpace blog, the band recently kicked drummer Justin Oblinger to the curb. They remain rather cryptic about why, but it looks like dude gave up on the whole Christianity thing. Read the lovingly harsh post here:
Showbread is a weird band for a lot of reasons... One of those reasons is that the reason we have a band is to tell people about what it is that we believe, this is not the reason a lot of people are in bands... doesn't make anyone better or worse, just the facts of life.
We have asked Justin "Big O" Oblinger to step down as our drummer. As much as we love him, and as awesome a drummer as he was, sometimes people just believe different things. We love Big O to death and remain great friends, no bad blood.
