According to a report from the Seattle police, a man's karaoke rendition of Coldplay sent a woman into a violent fit of rage, causing her to storm the stage, yell out obscenities, and punch the man.
The incident occured last Thursday night at Changes Tavern in Seattle. A man had taken the stage and was singing the Coldplay song "Yellow," when a 21-year old woman reportedly snapped. The woman went up to the stage and told the man that his singing "sucked" and that the Coldplay song "fucking sucked." Then, she grabbed the microphone, pushed the man, then punched him. Security attempted to escort the woman out, at which point she "became very violent" and struck several people.
According to the Smoking Gun -- which has the police report, right here -- it is unclear why the music of Coldplay made the woman violent.
