Saigon gave an interview to Vibe's website yesterday in which he went into further detail about his infamous MySpace post, its also-infamous follow-up HipHopDX interview and his frustration with Atlantic Records and producer Just Blaze.

An excerpt:

Nah, I haven't really spoken to him since then, and I don't understand why. And I feel like he sides with the record company. I don't know why. Maybe they got some thing going on between them. But in every single situation, Just sides with the record company. And I'm like, this is my album. Just produced the album, but he doesn't have the same sense of urgency I have. He works on other projects. Just is financially stable. Not that it's about money, but he's established. His phone doesn't stop ringing. Everytime an artist get a record deal, first person they call is Just Blaze. So his phone don't stop ringing. But this album is going to set the tone not only for my career but for my life, my well-being.

It's unclear if Sai gave this interview before or after Just Blaze's blog post from yesterday which detailed his side of the matter.

The whole back and forth can be read here.

Hope you didn't have plans of being able to cop The Greatest Story Never Told before the end of the decade. Probably should have picked a less potentially ironic album title on that one, Sai.
