The latest in LA's attempt to stay as classy as possible, Rod Stewart has apparently handed his approval over to Tommy Lee, who is courting Stewart's daughter Kimberly.

Courting, in this case, meaning riding her into the wee hours of the morning, but hey that's gossip.

Lee, drummer for Motley Crue and amateur porn director, had to take extreme measures to impress Rod.

NME reports that although Rod was in "hysterics" when Tommy arrived in a helicopter to pick Kimberly up for a date in San Diego, Rod did give a verbal tip of the hat to Tommy.

"I've tried some manoeuvres in my time to pursue a woman, but this is a pretty strong move," he said.

Kimberly was supposedly "stunned" at her dad's "chivalrous" behavior. How is it chivalrous to let a daughter date one of the most notoriously slutty men on the continent? I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but chivalrous?

Anyway, Kimberly is described on her wiki entry as a model, actress, fashion designer and socialite. But let's be honest, she is the daughter of Rod Stewart, plain and simple.
