The Smashing Pumpkins and Rage Against the Machine, both newly reunited, will headline the Voodoo Music Experience on October 26-28 in New Orleans.

The Black Crowes, Fall Out Boy, Wilco, Sinead O'Connor, Kings of Leon, Plain White T's, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, M.I.A., Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Spoon will all appear at the festival.

Details of the show can be found at the Voodoo Music Experience website. It's pretty safe to say that this show is going to be sick. I'm wondering whether the theme of people that recently came back together (Rage, Pumpkins, Crowes) was intentional, or if those bands were simply the best ones available. Either way, they should play that angle up. "Hey New Orleans, if Rage Against the Machine can reunite, then so can we!"
