The less supergroups in the world, the better. Nonetheless, Common and Q-Tip have hooked up to form a new group called The Standard.
The two plan to record an album for Universal Records, home to both artists, starting later on this year.
Common suggested they form a group and they'll most likely begin performing material together on their tour that begins in a few weeks.
Q-Tip will produce but they're also hoping for some Kanye West productions once his solo promo rush slows down a bit.
