Fresh off the release of the Return of the Mac mixtape (which, two weeks later, is still better than it has any right to be) Prodigy of Mobb Deep has announced movie plans.
The rapper will work through his Infamous Films imprint to film and release, H.N.I.C. Also onboard for what Infamous is calling a "genre-bending story" are Hassan Johnson and J.D. Williams (a.k.a. Wee-Bey and Bodie. Respect.)
Close readers will note that H.N.I.C. was also the name of Prodigy's first solo album and that H.N.I.C. 2, the record's sequel, is expected later in 2007.
Production on the film is slated to start this spring.
