The people that make computer viruses are using pop stars to lure you in. According to an article in the Halifax News, nude celebrities searches are one of the most popular gateways to transmitting viruses. Among the celebrities frequently searched are several pop stars; Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton being the worst of the worst. In fact, Spears is so popular that both the phrases "Spears nude" and "Spears naked" are among the top searches.
Other popular celebrities that people want to see nude include Pam Anderson, Carmen Electra and Jessica Alba. Searches for celebrity couples, such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and Kenny Chesney and Renee Zellweger are also popular bait used by hackers.
Alright people, listen up. The message is clear. You try to find pictures of nude celebrities online and you're going to pay the price. I know you might really want to see a picture of Jessica Simpson's side-cleavage, but is it really worth having to go down to Best Buy and deal with your local mall's equivalent of "Nick Burns: Company Computer Guy" as he fixes the virus and constantly berates you? The only one of these celebrities that has a real nude video online is Ms. Hilton, and if you haven't seen that one yet, then you don't deserve to own a computer.
I know, it's sad. If hackers have their way and these trends continue, the church will have to get away from abstinence and promote sluttiness as the best way to avoid viruses. Hopefully we will see the day when a guy can look up Photoshopped Lindsay Lohan nude pics without fear. But for now, everyone wise up and get your porn off Kazaa.
