While his trial rages on with various forensics experts arguing whether or not Lana Clarkson lived for a few minutes after the gunshot wound [hence, possibly coughing blood on Spector's jacket], Phil's adopted son appeared on TV and painted a rather ugly picture of his father.

Phil adopted two boys when he was together with Ronnie Spector, and while neither have spoken terribly favorably of their adopted father [he allegedly locked them in their rooms at night, and did other things that made him fall a bit short of "father of the year"], Gary appeared on Court TV yesterday for a candid interview.

Gary said he believes his father will be found guilty, but he's spent millions of dollars on the trail because, he "feels it’s better to spend the money on his trial than giving all that money to the Clarkson family in the inevitable wrongful death lawsuit."  He also noted Phil's tendency to be tight with money and even cited him paying ex-wife Ronnie Spector thousands of dollars in nickles, simply to spite her.

Seeing as this was just a Court TV interview, it bears no weight on the actual trial, but every day, things look a little more grim for Phil Spector.  In reality, I think we're just watching a sad, lonely old man who has mental problems being put through the wringer for what really was most likely an accidental death, or a suicide.
