Pete Townshend has written a stage musical called The Boy Who Heard Music. The Rock Radio reports that Townshend will debut the musical at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY on July 13 & 14.
The Boy Who Heard Music was originally supposed to be a movie starring Johnny Depp, but plans fell through (Johnny Depp was too busy playing Keith Richards' son in a crappy movie).
As a former Poughkeepsie resident, I say, enjoy the show everyone! And try not to walk by the Palace Diner after dark. Seriously, you'll get shot.
