Although nobody expected the band to release anything new this year, they will be releasing a DVD of footage recorded on their last word tour. The DVD is due on October 29th.
The DVD will be called Lord Don't Slow Me Down and shares its name with a Noel-fronted song that will be included on the DVD.
The DVD is a full-length version of a special that aired on British television last year, as well as a Noel fan Q&A, footage of the band's concert at Manchester City's Eastlands Stadium in 2005, and commentary tracks from each member of the band -- which may prove to be the best part.
There is no US release date for this DVD at press time, which is why people like me have region free DVD players.
