No Doubt, everybody's favorite Ska band from the 90's, reunited for a performance Friday night in Irvine, CA at lead singer Gwen Stefani's solo show. The many rumors of the pop act's demise were recently quelled with confirmations from all bandmates that a new record is in the works. This performance however had not been previously mentioned and took everyone by surprise (except for those fans who heard the soundcheck from outside earlier in the day).
Joining Stefani on stage after her concert performance were ND Bandmates Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young. With the band all there, including Gwen's current touring band mates Stephen Bradley & Gabrial McNair who also perform live with No Doubt when on tour, the band played what would have been Gwen's encore. The mini set consisted of 3 songs:
Just a Girl
It's My Life
Spiderwebs
Fans attending the concert said the screams and cheers from the crowd were louder for No Doubt's appearance than they were for Gwen alone (go figure).
