The band launched a sneak attack on fans with their new digital-only single, "Lord Don't Slow Me Down," after repeatedly saying not to expect anything from them for the rest of 2007. And not only that, but they made a video for the song, which will be bundled with the digital single that comes out on October 21st. Of course, being that our good friends at YouTube never skip a beat, you can watch the video right here and now.
So... is this the single Oasis fans were waiting for?
Is it brilliant, like Noel promised? Or is it just a throwaway to remind people the band still exists, and actually does something more than talk crap about people [and each other?]
I'm afraid... it might be the latter. But then again, sometimes, Oasis songs are "growers," and you like them more over time. What do you think?
