In the Internet-driven world, there are five ways to make a cheap yet effective music video...

 

1) Have a fan-made video contest, pretend that you're doing something noble when you're really just looking to save a buck.

 

2) Use random clips from past shows spliced in between shots of the band playing a random location.

 

3) Have no plot and a very attractive singer.

 

4) Use animation, claymation, legos, or some kind of digital tricks.

 

5) Have 4 guys do a choreographed dance on treadmills.
