The Shins are the latest band to take on "Little Boxes," the theme for Showtime's "Weeds." Their cover will be featured on the show this season (Randy Newman's already has been). You can hear it here.

 

James Mercer said, of the experience, "We had a great time recording this. The main tracks are all our first take. It just went very smoothly. The song is one that I can very much identify with and a natural fit for the band."
