Blogcritics posted a somewhat-cynical article today about old country vs. new country, as if we hadn't heard it a million times before. Never the less, the site feels the need to "guide" its readers to the music they deem "real" country music, which just so happens to include the Williams bloodline.

The post gave credit to Hank III, who Blogcritics said was the "undisputed king of the movement away from Nashville." Other bands the article credits with keeping country alive are Wayne Hancock, Dale Watson and Neko Case.
