You probably read all about how much Bill O'Reilly hates Nas and how Bill didn't think it was appropriate for Nas to perform at A Concert for Virginia Tech. Well, Nas didn't really give a shit, so he performed at the concert last night and spit some venom back in Bill's direction.
There were about 50,000 people in attendance for performances from Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer and Phil Vassar. The concert was a benefit for the university after the April 16 campus shottings, where gunman Cho Seung-Hui went on a rampage killing 33 people including students and faculty members at VA Tech.
So, getting to that venom.
Nas dedicated "Hate Me Now" to Bill O, who called the VA Tech president a ‘villain' for allowing Nas to perform.
[This song is for] those who don't understand what Nas is about. Like that chump Bill O'Reilly. I said that chump Bill O'Reilly. This song is for him and haters alike.
So, that wasn't exactly venomous and Bill deserved more than a single diss, but I'll take what I can get.
