The Plain White T's are still riding the success of the hit song "Hey There Delilah," but the band has already begun working on a new album. Singer Tom Higgenson says he has 25-30 songs written, and you'll definitely see some "Delilah"-esque acoustic ballads. Higgenson tells Billboard:

We've always had acoustic songs on our albums. Those are some of my favorite songs to write and some of the band's best songs. Now that 'Delilah' was so successful, we won't be as afraid to include a few more of those on the next album.

You can't fault the guy for sticking to what works. In a related story, my mom called me yesterday and asked, "Who sings that 'Hey Delilah' song?" Then she asked me to get her the CD. I don't know if it was ever cool to like that song, per se, but now I can say with 100% certainty that it's not. Sorry, Plain White T's, but "Delilah" had a good run, and now it's time to obsess over another Ivy League gymnast. Have you considered Brown's Jessica Pestronk? "Hello There Jessica" has a nice ring to it.
