A few weeks ago, an auction was held in Las Vegas, and a bunch of Jackson family possessions were sold off. The auction -- held by a company called Universal Express Inc. -- featured 1,100 items once owned by the Jacksons, and brought in $500,000.
Now, 60 of those items have been seized by a Nevada court. Michael Jackson is seeking to have 25 items returned, including legal documents and sheet music from "We Are The World." Janet Jackson is asking for the return of the other 35 items, which include her marriage certificate and a script from an episode of "Diff'rent Strokes" in which she guest starred.
A hearing will be held on July 16th in Nevada to see if Universal Express Inc. violated a court order in holding the auction.

I don't know what kind of company Universal Express is -- it sounds like a FedEx competitor -- but you should probably never do business with them. Auctioning off someone's marriage certificate is a pretty shady business model.
