Last October, Madonna adopted her son David from an orphanage in Malawi. However, the adoption cannot be finalized until a Malawian representative observes Madonna's family and gives approval of her parenting skills.

As previously reported, things hit a roadblock when social worker Penstone Kilembe was barred from traveling to the U.K. to observe Madonna and the rest of the Ritchie family. Now, according to E! Online, the observation is back on. Malawi's Minister of Women and Child Development has changed her mind and will allow Kilembe to visit the Ritchies in the U.K. Kilembe's visit will occur sometime next month, and then a decision will be made as to whether Madonna can keep the child.

They're obviously going to let Madonna keep the baby, you know, cause she's rich and rich people get whatever they want. But could you imagine if they actually took the kid away? One day that kid would grow up and someone would explain to him that he had a chance to be Madonna's son and the government took it away. You think paying 30% of your paycheck for taxes is annoying? This kid would literally lose millions. Not to mention the fact that he'd be living on a dirt floor instead of in a solid gold palace. If this happens, he will shoot up the entire country someday, guaranteed. It's not as big a deal for Madonna. She'll just go down to the Malawian Baby Gap -- where they actually sell babies -- and get herself a new kid. In fact, she'll probably upgrade to the 2007 model. But this kid... well, his entire life will be ruined. Do the right thing, Malawi.
