As reported, the band's stolen van and trailer was found... after the thieves set it on fire. The band posted photos of the damage -- and really, while "die in a fire" is thrown around the Internet a lot, whoever did this deserves to do so.

 

The band is continuing their tour, borrowing instruments from tour mates, and  putting up a collection box, as they don't even have merchandise to sell -- thanks to the thieves. There is also a PayPal account here, which was set up for fans to donate money to help the band out during this ridiculously bad time.

 

I wish people would learn to be civilized. There aren't many laws that I think we need, as a society -- most things would work themselves out without a heavy-handed government. But there's no way to tolerate murder, rape, stealing, or arson -- crimes that really hurt people.  What a shame.
