I'm not sure when or why country stars of the past decided they were in some position to weigh in on this whole Britney Spears meltdown thing, but they sure have.
In addition to Tanya Tucker, Loretta Lynn is the latest country star to put forward her feelings about the whole sitch.
"I feel sorry for Britney. I think her parents are the ones to blame. I'm sure they'll come after me for that, but I don't care," Lynn said.
CountryNation, via GAC, reported that Lynn said, "When I did something, it took three or four days to hit the press. Other than that, it's no different."
Hmm, I can't remember the last time Loretta shaved her head. It must've been '87? '88 maybe? Either way, she's totally right ... definitely the parents fault. Brit is 25, she's sold seventy six million records worldwide, been married, owned a couple mansions and she's had two kids ... yet it's her parents fault she had a breakdown?
Loretta, darling, I love you, but come on, blaming Brit's parents? p.s. - Remember that one you did called "Wine, Women and Song?" I think that's applicable here.
