This and last night's lights-out, career-defining dominance of Detroit in a 48-hour span? Is there anything King James can't do?
When he isn't busy completely redeeming the National Basketball Association, LeBron James spends his free time rapping. Sprite, which has an endorsement deal with James, noticed this before the start of the season and put his mic skills to work in a theme song contest.
The beverage company asked for fan submissions for a beat for LeBron's theme song to be called "Main Attraction," and after a long season and 2,900 entries, a winner has been chosen.
The winning track was submitted by Kanoa "eternallyballn" Doblin of Hawaii and has had verses by Paul Wall, Al Fatz and James himself put on it for its public debut today.
LeBron got his PR voice on for the occasion: "To have a theme song created by the fans of Sprite and the NBA is a real honor. The online world offers so many new and exciting ways for all of us to communicate and express ourselves."
"Main Attraction" can be heard at AllHipHop.com.
Hey LeBron: last night's game was magic and everything, just don't forget the history of this sort of thing.
