LeAnn Rimes took a minute to send out a fitting tribute to the soldiers just in time for Memorial Day, via her MySpace blog. Rimes encouraged her fans to take a moment to "remember those over in Iraq serving in war."

Rather than get in the way of this one and jumble it all up, the entire text of her blog is posted below.

Also, in case you missed the report yesterday, LeAnn wil participate in two of Sean Hannity's Freedom Concerts, alongside Montgomery Gentry and Lee Greenwood.

This memorial day, please take a moment to remember those over in Iraq serving in war. This is a very real war and many families are directly effected by what is happening oversees. If you have a moment, please take the time to write a note, say a prayer or even make a call to the your loved one's who are serving.

Very recently, even one of LeAnn's team members experienced a direct loss last week from the war. Ryan D. Collins died last Friday fighting for the freedoms we sometimes take for granted.

LeAnn offered this note for his family and community in Vernon, TX directly affected by this tragedy.

"To Ryan and his fellow soldiers, you are the true definition of American Heroes. You gave the ultimate sacrifice and for that, myself and every other American can rest assured that someone always has our back. I will always support all of my "Family" in the armed services and you will be forever in my prayers. - LeAnn Rimes"

God Bless the US Troops, and remember this Memorial Day!
