Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later... ten years later.
MTV News has super preliminary word today that Lauryn Hill is in the studio working on the follow up to her 1997 solo debut, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
There's really no news beyond the fact that Hill is in the studio and that Sony, her label, is expecting an album at some point the not-so-distant future, but as halfway reclusive as Hill has been for the last decade, this is encouraging.
As we reported last month, Hill's first single in forever, "Lose Myself" will soon be available on the Surf's Up soundtrack.
