It had been previously reported that Katharine McPhee would star in a sorority comedy. Now, the film has a name: Bunny Ranch. The movie will focus on a former Playboy Playmate, played by Anna Faris, who becomes a sorority house mother. McPhee will play a pregnant hippie in the film, and she says she'll be wearing clothes that "no pregnant woman should ever be wearing."
McPhee told VH1/MTV that she expects her time on the set of the film to be enlightening.
I don't have the lead in the movie - it was a perfect opportunity to do something [that] isn't resting on my shoulders. I don't have tons of lines, [but] I'm in almost every scene, so I can just listen and be present and get the whole experience of what it's like to be on a set. It will be a good learning session for me.
