Despite having sports star LeBron James as a host, last night's Saturday Night Live was primarily a musical affair. Kanye West, hip hop's primary egoist, was the musical guest, thought there was a cameo from Adam Levine of Maroon 5.
In addition to giving some impressive performances, Kanye participated in a skit where he mocked his notorious award show etiquette.You can check it out here. During Kanye's second song, he went on a long, rambling freestyle about various topics. Hopefully it will hit YouTube by tomorrow.
The night also included a somewhat funny digital short from Adam Levine and Andy Samberg about the Iranian leader entitled "Iran So Far."
Adam and Andy gave a solid try at being funny, but I'm not sure it's "Dick in a Box" quality. After Justin's grammy nod for that digitial short, I wonder how many more rockstars we'll see this season on SNL next to Samberg. Who knows, Andy might be Timbaland 2.0!
