Hip hop's reigning gadget king (his words) spent the last week or so with Steve Jobs' little mobile telecommudia orgy of a device and his review is in.

Early adopting hip hop mega producers give back:

The Browser handles well, and is probably the best mobile browser on any device to date. However, without a 3G data connection, it really kinda works against itself. Apple's whole spin on their browser is, "We don't give you a scaled down version of the web, we give it to you raw the same way you see it on your computer." They don't mention that you'll be recieving it on a network with download speeds slower than your old dial-up modem. I'm not really one for wi-fi on handheld devices. I move around a lot so jumping form wi-fi hotspot to hotspot isnt' really the move for me. Like chances are.. if I'm in a spot with wi-fi.. I'll have a computer with me. And if I want full web.. i'll view it on my 1920×1440 17" laptop screen. Another case of sweet eye candy and sour functionality.

Get this man a column in Wired.
