The American Idol winner will be premiering a single in a week ("Tattoo" will hit radio stations August 27th).
The 17-year-old singer signed a contract with Jive in conjunction with 19Recordings, which is managed by "AI" host Simon Fuller. Her first album, it has been reported, will hit shelves at some point in November.
Fingers are crossed for another Kelly Clarkson-like success...wait...why did I just say that?
