If you're a rap dork, you're well-aware Jay-Z put his stamp on 50 Cent's "I Get Money (Remix)" and maybe, just maybe, you were a little confused. For good reason too, as Jay owns a share in Kanye's competing success.

Well, Jay had that figured out long ago:

I just wanted to show that we're not enemies. [50 Cent] called me to ask for the remix, and I told him he couldn't put the remix out until the first week came. I didn't want it to affect any type of numbers. [Laughs] We're not enemies, we're just competing.


Also during that interview, with Entertainment Weekly, Jay-Z hails Kanye's "Big Brother" as his best track since "Jesus Walks."
