Jack Ingram and Miranda Lambert will get together for some picking and singing on the next episode of CMT Cross Country. Thanks to a MySpace blog from Jack Ingram.

The two relatively new to the mainstream singers will share songs, stories and their love of country with viewers on August 31 at 10 p.m. ET. They tape the episode on Tuesday, July 24 at City Hall in Nashville.

Previous episodes of CMT Cross Country featured Vince Gill with Alison Krauss, Big & Rich with John Anderson and Randy Travis with Josh Turner.
