Isaac Hanson, the oldest of the three brothers in Hanson, has undergone surgery for Paget-Schroetter Syndrome, which is a medical term for a blood clot deep within the arm or shoulder. When left unchecked, the ailment can be potentially fatal. However, doctors say the surgery was successful and expect Isaac to make a full recovery.
Isaac checked into the hospital on Tuesday night after performing a show in Dallas. He was suffering from shoulder and chest pain.
As you may have guessed, Hanson's current tour is on hold until Isaac is fully recovered.
After years of being stuck with the one-hit-wonder label, Hanson is finally starting to gain some recognition for their work beyond just "MMMBop." Let's hope Isaac is alright and the band's upward spiral continues.
