Pitchfork brings very tentative word today that two of the smarter rock bands they are currently enamored with will possibly be touring together this fall.

 

Mr. Argos, please meet Mr. Finn. Mr. Finn, Mr. Argos.

 

In much plainer words: The Hold Steady and Art Brut might be splitting bills in the near future. There's only one confirmed date thus far -- November 19, at Richmond, Virginia's Toad's Place -- but that can't stop us all from hoping.
