On July 7th, the same day that Live Earth is taking place, an online concert for the environment called Stage Z will also occur. Stage Z features Kelly Rowland, Hinder, Scott Ian of Anthrax/VH1 shows, Lil Mama, Teddy Geiger and others.
Like Live Earth, the Stage Z concerts are geared toward raising awareness of the environment, pollution, global warming, etc. However, unlike Live Earth, Stage Z allows you to watch to live music at the same time you're downloading Bang Bus videos.
You can go here to learn more about Stage Z. Just for the record, if Hinder and Lil Mama do a duet, my head is going to explode. Whatever your views on global warming, you have to admit it's nice to have a concert with good bands that's focused on a global issue (I'm refering to Live Earth here, not Stage Z). Ever since we let Tibet get free, there's been a serious lack of quality social awareness concerts. Let's make this an annual thing, alright?
