Green River, the band that split to become Pearl Jam and Mudhoney, will reunite next summer for a special performance. The show will mark the 20th anniversary of legendary Seattle record label Sub Pop.
Green River was formed by Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Mark Arm, Steve Turner and Alex Vincent. Gossard and Ament went on to form Pearl Jam (after first forming Mother Love Bone). Arm and Turner went on to form Mudhoney. Vincent went on to be a stay-at-home dad. No, really, that's what he does now.
Gossard's other band, Brad, just announced that it will play 3 charity shows.
Next up, a Mother Love Bone reunion! OK, that's probably not going to happen.
