You know what? Let's make this bullshit quick and easy, it's Friday. Ghostface Killah is about to show up on a Lyle Lovett track, rapping a verse over the sounds of Jewel Kilcher yodeling. Seriously.
The Marshall Crenshaw-penned tune also features Jackson Browne.
The track was recorded for the upcoming Judd Apatow production, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Apparently the song is for the end of the movie, which is "an elaborate performance." Yeah, no kidding. Jewel yodeling is always an elaborate bit of lame-ness.
Anyway, Lovett said he enjoyed Ghostface and that the rapper was "cool."
The soundtrack will be out around Christmas.
