As part of his community service, George Michael has been working in a homeless hostel in London and has received nothing but praise from the people who work and volunteer there.
Reportedly, in addition to gardening and other tasks, George has been writing songs with some of the people staying in the hostel. Andrew Gilmour, who is related to the shelter, said of George:
"He helped people write songs, some about poverty, some about people in hostels. I thought it was a really good thing because he's keeping drug addicts and alcoholics off the street. He was down to earth, a good man."
George was sentenced to 100 hours of community service and two years without a drivers license for driving while unfit, earlier this year. Nice to see him turning something bad into something good, no?
