The recently un-retired Garth Brooks has booked a performance to help unveil the new Sprint Center in Kansas City - where he'll play a November 14 show for employees of Wal-Mart. Garth hasn't said anything about a tour yet, but with shows picking up steam, it's not long before middle-America demands to see their favorite tiled-shirt wearing hero on the road.

The show is a thank you concert to Wal-Mart, who has been the exclusive retailer for Brooks for quite some time. There are talks that Brooks might be playing multiple shows at the venue but a ticket announcement is expected sometime today to clear that up.

The show is also set to be taped for a TV special.

The Ultimate Hits is a three-disc set featuring a Huey Lewis cover (and Huey Lewis on mouth harp) and it'll be out on November 6.
