Turns out the doctor doesn't think Frank is ready to play after his nasty head injury the other night -- and only told the band after they finished their soundcheck.
The band sent the following message:
Due to an incident in Stoke on Saturday the show tonight is cancelled. The show will be rescheduled for 8th December where the same tickets will be honoured. Tickets will be refunded if you can't make the rescheduled date. It sucks for us as much as it does for you but it's doctor's orders. Middlesbrough tomorrow will not go ahead either. Keep your eyes peeled on the Poison The Well and Blackhole myspace pages for any potential shows. We've just finished soundchecking so it's literally that last minute.
And the lesson here? Don't wrestle your insane fans. Still, here's hoping for a quick recovery for Frank.
