Foxy Brown has been taken into police custody. She will be in prison from now until her next court hearing, under the order of Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson.

Last week alone, Foxy had two run-ins with the law and they are most likely the cause of Jackson's decision.

First, Foxy was accused of assaulting a neighbor with her blackberry, which apparently left the neighbor with "loosening of the teeth, swelling of the lip and swelling of the right eye."

Later in the week she was pulled over while driving her SUV with a suspended license and suspended registration. She then gave officers false information about who she was.

The sad part of the story, in light of all her legal troubles, is that the 27-year-old rapper is reportedly pregnant and looking to wed during September.
