Drummer Atom Willard has left The Offspring. Willard recently joined the band Angels & Airwaves. Though he had said he was staying with The Offspring and pulling double-duty with both bands, that obviously is no longer the case.
The Offspring have already announced a replacement for Willard, former Saves the Day drummer Pete Parada. Parada will make his live debut at the Summer Sonic Festival on August 11th in Japan.
Neither Willard or Parada will appear on The Offspring's upcoming album. Josh Freese of Nine Inch Nails handled all drumming responsibilities on the record.
