Good news for Fat Joe fans, the Bronx-based rapper has announced that he will release a new album, I guess aptly titled, The Elephant in the Room, early in 2008.

Fat Joe's career got a bump after he signed with an EMI imprint, Imperial Records, who helped Joe push "Make It Rain" into the top 10. Well, that alongside a guest spot from Lil Wayne, of course. The song has also received platinum ringtone sales.

The Elephant features guest spots from fragrance guru rapper turned mogul, P. Diddy, as well as Rick Ross and Fabolous. It also sports production from Cool & Dre.

Finally, if you really get down with Fat Joe and his Terror Squad, you'd be interested to know that Remy Ma quashed beef with 50 Cent earlier this week at a show in the Bronx.
