The band, called Killing For Company, will be opening for The Who in Swansea on June 1st, but not until they play their first-ever live show this weekend at Rhondda Sports Centre.
According to ICWales, Cable's new group "goes back to his heavy rock roots." I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
At best, nobody will be firing him in the middle of the night from his own band....
