Eric Church will play a benefit on May 20 at his old school, South Caldwell High School in Granite Falls, North Carolina.

Church apparently used to play basketball, baseball and golf at the school. For Church, it will be more than just a homecoming.

"The whole reason that Sinners Like Me is here is because of that school, that town and those people, so coming home to do this benefit was a no-brainer for me. My first single, 'How 'Bout You,' is as indicative of Granite Falls as anything else," Church said.
