Yeah, turns out Vedder isn't too happy with the current administration and its policies. Who knew?
The film, Body of War, will have its premiere -- poignently -- on September 11th at the Toronto International Film Festival. Billboard reports, "'Body of War,' directed by talk show legend Phil Donahue and Ellen Spiro, chronicles the travails of Tomas Young, who was paralyzed by a bullet during his first week of military service in Iraq. Vedder contributed two original songs to the film, 'No More' and 'Long Nights,' after meeting Young."
The film will be screened over the next four days in Toronto and will try to get a distributor for a release.
Vedder can be expected to play at least the two songs. I saw him play "No More" with PJ at Lollapalooza with Ben Harper.
