Tim McGraw will take the year off from Swampstock as he has decided to make the event an every-other-year happening. Tim started the event in 1994 to raise money for hometown little league programs but just last year he and his wife made the event part of their Neighbor's Keeper Foundation.

Swampstock is a charity celebrity softball game that now includes a multiple-artist concert afterwards. The event is held in Rayville, Louisiana, near where Tim grew up.

Here's what Tim had to say about the event:

It's a lot of work to put this event on each year, and I know it's asking a lot of the staff, the volunteers and, of course, the other artists and their bands. I want to keep the event fresh and important in the eyes of the community -- and continue to grow Swampstock. Holding it every other year will help us to achieve those goals.
