Legendary band with a drummer with one arm, Def Leppard is almost finished with their new album, up to possibly the 90 percent mark. Huh? Yeah, according to Billboard's Gary Graff, they are "about 85, 90 percent finished."

Frontman Joe Elliott says the record is not "radically different" than any of their previous work but it does contain elements of "late-‘70s AC/DC and new wave-type sounding stuff." Right.

The album is tentatively titled Songs from the Sparkle Lounge and is a reference to a backstage workroom the band maintained during their 2006 tour.
