The day before the CMA Music Festival is clearly National Fan Club Party Day. Like Brad Paisley and Gary Allan, Morgan and Shelton threw fan club celebrations in connection with the CMA Music Festival.
Craig Morgan's "Extreme Team" had a crowd of about 150 people, according to CMT. Morgan's fans were out at B.B. King's nightclub yesterday morning for a special performance. Morgan took the stage for some Q&A and a few songs before signing autographs and posing for photographs.
Blake Shelton's party took place down the street at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon, where he performed for fans during his annual fan club breakfast. Shelton's fan club also surprised the singer with a check for $9,500 to be donated to Shelton's Raindance charity.
Also of note, Morgan and Shelton traded jabs at one another's hairstyles. Morgan made fun of Shelton's long hair while Shelton joked that Morgan's new do was "like all of Rascal Flatts' hair on one head." For the record, Shoutmouth does not get that joke.
