According to reports, Clay Aiken was involved in an altercation with a woman this past Saturday on an airplane. An FBI agent told a Tulsa newspaper that an argument broke out between a male and female on a Continental flight to the Oklahoma city. The problems allegedly started because the male was resting his foot on the female's armrest. A verbal altercation ensued, and the female reportedly shoved the male.
The agent would not give the names of the people involved, but did say that the male was a former "American Idol" contestant.
Aiken performed a concert in Tulsa on Saturday night, and jokingly said to the crowd that he was beaten up by a girl earlier in the day.
"The flight crew was able to resolve the situation," said FBI agent Gary Johnson.
People aboard the plane were questioned by authorities, but no charges were filed. No injuries were sustained by anyone on the plane.
