We've all heard the horror stories about 70s and 80s child stars, but we're just starting to see the effects of fame on newer stars like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Interesting. Nick Carter is obviously being penalized for dating Paris Hilton, and I guess that's to be expected. Personally, I would include Lance Bass in the latter category; anyone who is involved in a failed Cosmonaut career and a love triangle with someone from "The Real World" had clearly had a few missteps in life. Call me crazy, but I think Britney will rebound, and I think the jury is still out on Duff. Also, I think Raven Symone should lose points, because she received unfair extra parenting while hangin' with Mr. Cooper. Clearly Justin Timberlake has had the best transition of anyone. Of course, getting to hook up with every hot chick on Earth probably helps with the maturation process.
Just remember, no matter what unfortunate things might happen to these stars in the coming years, they're all still probably better off than Urkel.
